Roy Leboy is a medical student, living in a garage apartment near the city zoo. His car, Beulah, is a black '53 Oldsmobile Rocket 88. He depends on Beulah for getting him to class and around town. Roy meets his classmates at the DOA Bar and Grill, the watering hole for the medical center, and they walk together, down the street, to Blueballs Cafe to celebrate Roy's birthday.
