Two simple, fast, accurate and sensitive spectrophotometric methods are described for the determination of Lisinopril and Tranexamic acid in pharmaceutical preparations. The first method is based on the reaction of ninhydrin with primary amine present in Lisinopril in the presence of DMF solvent. The reaction produces a bluish green color, which absorbs maximally at 600 nm.
