This bibliography is an attempt to honor our fellow workers for their contributions to marine pollution as a scientific field. We also hope to increase the understanding and exchange of information from a global per- spective. For the sake of younger workers, we hope that this exchange will prevent duplication of effort, the sad "reinvention of knowledge."
