Six years after the tragic loss of her five year old son and the breakdown of her marriage, Shelley finds it hard to move on with her life and difficult to engage in new relationships. Memories of the past flood back to haunt her, so much, that Shelley's mother is troubled that her daughter has a mild form of AvPD - Avoidant Personality Disorder. When a friend returns from an overseas holiday, Shelley sees a photograph which confirms her belief that her son is alive.
