The recipes in this cookbook have been handed down from generations of family and friends, as well as some I have developed myself. I have included a few of the older ones that were written in the old type measurements so that you, too, could enjoy them. I guess good memories are one of my favorite reasons to cook the old-fashioned way, and I have become known for that style of cooking and baking.
