A grandfather tells his grandchildren an almost mystical tale of a little boy who raises a crow in a small town in Georgia 60 years ago. Much to the surprise and delight of the grandchildren, they learn that the crow can talk. Their disbelief fades as the story continues. The pet crow flies free in the small town and experiences many adventures. The story tells of the strong bond that develops between the little boy and his talking crow and is complete with a surprise ending.
