Camren and Sandy are just typical girls in the Leavenworth High School Junior Reserves officers Training Corps program doing what regular girls do. But one day they were informed that they were to go to Klemme, Iowa to convince the School Principlal that JROTC is worth having. But first they must find a 3rd in command and deal with a football coach who insists that JROTC is just a waste of time, especially when 'every high school activity aims at motivating young people to be better citizens.'
