Jack is a small white dog who lives in a little white cottage hidden away in a valley between the rolling green hills of Wales.

Jack looks after the people who live with him and also spends his time playing with and watching all the other animals that play and meet up on the common opposite his cottage.

Jack has always wanted to see a circus, but after Mr Owl wrote a letter to them, they said they were fully booked and couldn't come to the village.

All the animals decided they wanted to put on their own circus just for Jack.
