Roman "Zlatarovo zlato," prvi je roman Augusta Senoe napisan 1871. godine. To je ujedno i prvi hrvatski povijesni roman, koji govori o zagrebackoj povijesti XVI. stoljeca (nakon Gupceve Seljacke bune). Roman je prvo objavljen u nastavcima u casopisu Vienac od broja 31. (5. kolovoza 1871.) do broja 52. (30. prosinca 1871.) unutar III godista. Baziran na povijesnim cinjenicama, predstavlja sliku ivota u Hrvatskoj, posebice u Zagrebu. "Kletva" je povijesni u kojem je prikazana buna sto su je digli hrvatski velikasi protiv hrvatsko-ugarskog kralja Sigismunda, ali i borbe izmedju biskupskog Kaptola i gradjanskog Grica.
