In "Dear Dad, from Afghanistan," another side of America's conflict in this war-torn part of the world is told. Through letters from a son deployed to train the Afghan Army to his dad back home this story takes us across the dad's Cold War experiences, to current politics, history, religion, and the panorama of travels across Afghanistan and it's diverse cultures. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of this book will be used to support veterans service organizations and the scholarship fund for Angelo State University's AFROTC detachment.
