Dr. Sotiria Theoharis is Greek American born in San Jose, CA and residing in Chalkida, Greece. She began her study into medicine with a psycho-biology and literature background at UCSC. She moved into the social sciences in particular sociology with interests in history and philosophy, at Durham University. Then she studied Sociology for a doctorate at UCSF.
