Fenugreek is one of the well known spices in human food. Its seeds and green leaves are used in food as well as in medicinal application. There are different varieties of fenugreek plan to cultivate based on soil and climatic conditions. The seeds of kasturi methi contain higher amount of cardiac glycoside and steroid whereas moderate amount of flavonoids and terpenoids.
