Dysphagia is not commonly mentioned in lung cancer symptom complex. Gastrointestinal motility disorder as well as mediastinal lymphadenopathy, radiotherapy and candidal infections are the most common aetiologic mechanisms of dysphagia in lung cancer. Future large sample multicentric studies are needed to outline a proper management plan in collaboration with the gastroenterology medical and surgical departments.
