Chasing Daylight contains early and lost poems which were left out of Running To The Light, Alexandra's earlier book of poetry. Almost all were written during her childhood and adolescence- the formative years, so to speak. Those years are often a dark and confusing time, one where we struggle to understand ourselves and our place in the world. A time we spend "chasing daylight." This is one girl's journey.
