Infused is a novel about Geoff, a social inept college student at NCSU that finds that he has been given incredible powers after pulling a woman out from in front of an oncoming car to safety. As Geoff works to discover and understand his powers, his intelligence and his sense of moral clarity guide him. After his powers begin to be known to the public, some people praise him, while others become afraid of the threat that someone with his vast powers present.

After Geoff was INFUSED, he gained incredible powers that he used to help individual people as well as all of mankind. But, he also used his powers to end the lives of many people in retaliation for attacks made against him. Because of the fear and hatred that many people had toward Geoff, he abandoned his life on Earth and went in search of a simpler world where he could find acceptance.
