Bonnie Herman Hendrix is a native of North Carolina. Born in the small foothills town of Lenoir, NC, she spent most of her youth here before moving to the outskirts as a teenager. Living in Caldwell County her entire life, except for two years with her family in Ohio during WWII and three years in Asheville, NC while in nurses' training, she continues to be actively involved with family, friends and relatives.
