This SPH curricular material, developed by cooperative effort among the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), the Veterans Health Administration (VHA), and the American Nurses Association (ANA), will help instructors design training programs that encourage the use of safe approaches to handling patients and contribute to the prevention of MSDs.
