Pueblo Colorado Wash is an integral feature of the cultural landscape preserved at Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site (HUTR). In 2008, the park superintendent asked the NPS Water Resources Division (WRD) to assess the condition of the riparian-wetland system in response to these and other restoration and management activities. This report presents the results of riparian condition assessments conducted during July 6-8, 2010 on the Pecos River and lower Glorieta Creek within Pecos National Historical Park, New Mexico. These assessments were intended to inform the Natural Resource Condition Assessment and the Resource Stewardship Strategy now being prepared for the park.
