This is a delightful read about friends who remake a garden and discover a body. It is set in rural Northumberland and reflects the author's love of that area, her dogs and gardens as well as a supernatural influence. We meet Spinningdale Clashmore, the rumpled but adorable character who is falling in love with Chess. She is the main character in the first book in the series- Janetta's Garden. This is a page turning cozy mystery. A super read.
