Early in childhood the author sensed magic in the beauty of the eastern Sierra Nevada; later she she encountered there the one whose unexpected love and devotion would alter the path of her life forever. The natural landscape supported her seeking for understanding, and dreams often informed the way ahead. This is a spiritual journey of awakening to the greater universe of love and death, and the possible realities beyond this world.
