A photographic experience with quotes outside The Club Soda, summer of 1986, Kalamazoo Michigan. From the early 1980's until 2007 The Club Soda was best live music venue between Detroit and Chicago, my opinion. Supported by a strong local music scene, and the fact that Kalamazoo is a college town, with Western Michigan University being the largest. Touring bands made the city a stop between Motown and Chitown. The acts booked in could not have been any more diverse.
