The American Wholesale Corporation (AWC) was a Baltimore, Maryland based business which was originally established in 1881 as the Baltimore Bargain House. They sold everything imaginable to retailers throughout the United States. The AWC was one of two wholesale corporations that ruled the wholesale market throughout the late 1800s and into the early 1900s.
