ELSEWHERE follows a group of explorers who are disenchanted with the conformity of their utopian society. John Eric Buckley is the author of The Worst of Times, Elsewhere and Stranger Times as well as a variety of short stories. He is a graduate of Miami University of Ohio and currently resides in the Louisville, Kentucky area.

Max has a dead end blue collar job, a crummy apartment and a drinking buddy who is more trouble than he's probably worth. What he lacks is any real hope for the future. That is until he meets a saucy redhead named Lauren. Lauren seems like the girl of his dreams but the timing could not be worse. Max finds himself wrapped up in a police investigation, juggling old girlfriends and trying not to let the best thing that's ever happened to him slip through his fingers.

Max's infatuation with the lovely jet setting Lauren has gotten out of hand. While Lauren travels the country Max struggles with his dead end blue collar job and his troublesome drinking buddy but his thoughts are never far from Lauren. Her abrupt return forces Max to face the differences between infatuation, obsession and true love.
