Arthur Wing Pinero's play, "Trelawny of the "Wells"" - which was first produced at the Court Theatre on January 20th, 1898 - was also a vacationary exercise; yet this minor undertaking has turned out, in retrospect, to be one of the most popular of all his many compositions.
