I go back in time to 1990 when I composed forty-two charismatic, yet polished, religious poems inspired by Christian Scripture and my young life. After a heartfelt commentary from then, I've added retrospectives on each poem from my humanist perspective now as a wiser, wittier person with a physical challenge. This book combines my old religious poetry with retrospectives and my new humanist section of my spiritual autobiography. I couldn't find a desert landscape I liked for the cover, but found this image of wind power coming out of perhaps a desert. It also is about traveling a modern-day path and finding your way in the world. I would like to think my book encourages such exploration as in the quote by T.S. Eliot found on the back cover.
