The life tables in this report are current life tables for Arizona based on age-specific death rates for the period 1989-91. With the exception of those for ages 95 years and over (and to a lesser extent those for ages 85-94 years), the death rates were calculated using data from the 1990 census of population and deaths occurring in the United States to residents of Arizona in the 3 years 1989-91.
