Eckhart Tolle says that we all have stories; it does not mean we ARE the stories. I totally believe that. I have come to realize, however, that each and every "story" in my life has availed a way in which I am able to grow and develop and understand. I may not BE my story, but in a lot of ways who I am today and what I am able to understand is the direct product of those stories.
