I fell in love with New York City many decades ago when I was sent on my first assignment as a paid photographer to cover the New York City Marathon. Being young and arrogant (not to mention Parisian), I looked down my nose and scoffed as I accepted the assignment. "Americans" I thought to myself "What do they know about culture or food or anything for that matter." Oh how wrong I was... New York held me spell-bound from the very start with its food, its culture, its neighborhoods, and, yes the people. This photo book represents the places and things I love most about this amazing city.
