Freelance journalist Carla Black sets herself up as bait to lure serial killer William Boule into the open to get a good story. Acting on a tip-off, and against all advice, she travels to Morocco to find him. Once there, she enlists the help of a private detective, Bruce Miller, who has reasons of his own to for wanting to find the killer. The plan works much better than she'd anticipated, and Boule is soon onto her, leaving behind a trail of dead bodies as he tries to catch up with her.
