In this play exploring themes of insanity and freedom of choice, Evan Walsh, a man driven insane by the death of his wife and child, returns home after murdering a would be rapist to find a strange apparition awaiting him. The voice tries to steer Evan away from police suspicion but an equally demented detective named Alton Davis, who is being influenced by a voice in his own head becomes suspicious of the widower. Both men struggle with their actions past and present, and their voices soon lead them to a heated standoff.
