Topical treatment of the fungal infections is recognized for the non widespread limited lesions or as adjunctive for systemic antifungal treatment. The work here aimed to formulate topical dosage forms of fluconazole in order to avoid or decrease the side effects of the systemic route. In addition, in vitro antifungal activity and clinical assessment of the selected formulation on patient suffering superficial fungal infections were investigated.
