The Reporter was a very successful individual. He was a faithful man who loved his wife very much. However, when a well known community member kills himself and his family after The Reporter published a story about him, The Reporter's life begins to unravel. With a guilty conscience The Reporter becomes lost in a sea of depression. He loses his job, his faith and his wife. Alone and stricken with a seemingly incurable sadness, The Reporter eventually seeks salvation by visiting The Therapist. But can The Reporter shake this sickness and walk in the shoes of a formerly despicable man?

If I had to describe "This Side of Happiness" in a few words I might say that it is simply a collection of six short stories. And in each story the characters explore and interact with the many genres and forms that love takes.
