After surviving the "Great Recession," young Jack and his mother move into a small humble trailer amidst a dense wooded forest. In their struggle to make ends meet, Jack sets out on a journey to the town of Rigil to trade in a bag of aluminum cans for a few dollars. On his way through the forest, he discovers a mystical secret hidden from the world, that only he and his new friend share.
