We live in a world that blames God when things go wrong. We hear that God is in control. So, no matter what happens, it's because of God. That's wrong thinking. The Bible says Satan is the god of this world. It's Satan, who steals, kills, and destroys. It also says that as Christians, we have been given authority over him. That is part of the battle, right there - to understand and keep that straight in our minds. God is the answer, not the problem. Back in the 80's I remember reading Matthew 12:40, It was during the Easter season, "For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth." I had read that verse before, but this time I realized it didn't make any sense considering how we celebrated Easter. (Good Friday to Easter Sunday is not three days and three nights.) This put me on a quest to find out what scripture had to say about the events during Easter week. The results were amazing. Jesus truly is the lamb of God.

For years I have wanted a 'go to' book of Biblical promises. This book is it. It has the promises in topic/category order. I've titled this book 'His Promises My Faith'. Jesus said, "If you abide in me and my words abide in you, ask what ye will and it shall be done unto you." With this book you can speak with your mouth and believe in your heart the promises of God.

This prayer book is the result of my prayer time over the past several years. These are prayers that I pray for my family, friends, partners and the nations. There are also many verses dealing with the favor of God, health, and prosperity.
