The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is the research, development and evaluation agency of the US Department of Justice. Not all test cases or test assertions specified in the Digital Data Acquisition Tool Assertions and Test Plan Version 1.0 are appropriate for all tools. In addition to the base test cases, each remaining test case is linked to optional tool features needed for the test case. If a given tool implements a given feature then the test cases linked to that feature are run. Table 1 lists the features available in MacQuisition and the linked test cases.
