The current work is dedicated to dental undergraduate students as well as for postgraduate candidates in orthodontics. It is investigating the influence of mesial migration of the lower permanent first molar on the development and position of the lower third molar and the relation of this movement to the age, sex, and the side of the lower first molar. In orthodontics, it is very important to understand the behaviour of the wisdom teeth and their impact on normal occlusion.
