FOREWORD

As I traveled over the country telling of God's workings through the Kentucky Mountain Holiness Association a number of my friends suggested that I write a book relative to the work.

I have endeavored, therefore, in this volume to give a rather complete history of our interdenominational work of faith in the Mountains of Eastern Kentucky.

The material has been taken from my diary and from my own remembrance of the various happenings and events....
