Vanilla is a vine grown across the globe for its flavour producing beans. Among the diseases on vanilla, stem rot caused by Fusarium oxysporum f.sp. vanillae is the most important disease. During survey in vanilla growing districts, the disease incidence was ranged from 5.0 to 30%. FOV isolates exhibited variation to utilization of different nutrient sources.
