Written between 1726 to 1731 and edited by Hans Bischoff in 1882, the Partitas are among the last of the keyboard suites Bach composed. They are also the most technically demanding.

This edition of Bach's Italian Concerto, from the second part of his -Clavier Ubung-, includes two versions - the URTEX, based on the first publication in 1735 in Nuremberg, and edited version, in which the editor added fingerings, recommended articulations and few dynamic marks given in small print. While students usually need editor recommendations they will also benefit from referring to the original Bach's manuscript reproduced by the URTEXT.
