John Sterling, agent Keats of the British Secret Service, is sent to find out the origin of the coins. Drawn into a web of shady characters such as Lemuel Gaunt, Malcolm Sweet and Mei Lei, Keats must determine where the coins are coming from and what happened to the previous agent sent to investigate.
