Urania is the Founder/President Emeritus of the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS), established in 1994. Urania's story is one of positive attitude, thankfulness, and a pay-it-forward belief. A remarkable journey from her early chldhood years in an orphanage--to being reunited with her mother after five years--to the realization then that she had quite famous ancestors who also carried the Christy name.
