The study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of planned teaching programme on growth and development of infants for primipara mothers in a selected rural area.Some primipara mother dont know about growth and development of infant, mother should know proper growth and development of infant, if children getting stunted growth and development, mother should check monthly weight ,height, gross motor development, so mother should avoid or early should take proper step for deviation of growth and development for improving knowledge of mother we should provide educational programme.

The study was undertaken to evaluate the effectiveness of staff nurse regarding newborn care and newborn problems in selected hospitals and providing information booklet to them for increasing their knowledge. New born care is very important, so staff nurse should provide proper care to the new born babies and also they teach to the mothers about care of new born babies in home. Then caring to the new born baby is caring to the God.
