A book of art and poetry. My art and poetry works with the interplay of images that are related conceptually or with images that swim in memory about a particular time or place or event. Many of the pieces are based on a specific geography, time, and event in my own mind. The work uses disjointed, fractured and layered images evocative of dream and memory. Much of my poetry starts with a visual image, which I jot down in the form of a poem, and then return to later to flesh out as a work of art. Other times, I develop the work of art right away, and then return later to write the poem.

Her second book of art and poetry, "House of Cards: The Heart Suit" is the first volume of a four-part art and poetry series based on her artistic and poetic reinterpretation of the deck of cards. "The Heart Suit" uses archetypes from Egyptian tomb paintings, Tarot cards, and her own personal experience, combining them in the structure offered by the suit of hearts. This volume will be followed by the Tree, Star, and Bone Suits. The entire series is called "House of Cards.
