Gyotabstract? ? What does that mean ? ? It is a combination of Gyotaku and abstract. Gyotaku is Japanese fish printing . This ancient printmaking technique is making a print from the fish to record the fish that the fisherman caught. This was beneficial before the advent of the camera. The second half of my term is abstract and that refers to abstract painting I did around and on the fish print. I created a new art form.
