The move to reopen what was until about forty years ago a closed question, whether same-sex physical relations, sometimes loosely termed homosexuality, are good, beautiful and acceptable to God, caught both scholars and Christian people in general more or less completely off-guard. I am both a scholar and a Christian; these collected papers represent some of my contribution to modern discussion. I publish them in the hope that others may be blessed by my work, and may be enabled to think and act more consistently for Our Lord in the modern world.
