The Shining Mountains Mystery is a story that takes place in Montana. It is a modern day western, with a little country style romance. I chose the title because the American Indians called Montana "The land of the shining mountains."The protagonist, Charity Blaine, is a lady veterinarian, who along with her father. and the local sheriff, have been caught up in intrigue that includes arson, attempted murder, a cattle stampede and the attempted robbery of a price bull.
