It's not easy to formulate an entire new philosophy let alone write a book about it, and philosophy can be terribly boring if it is no more than an inflated ego trying to appear intelligent by burbling postulations or possibilities. Besides that there have been too many wise and "to the point" philosophers in the past to consider attempting writing a new one.
