Jerry Perlet's Dragon Stories, Sarah's Adventures with the Dragon is a compilation of many years of storytelling about the dragon who lives on the mountain and befriends the children. The first dragon story was told to a group of students at Monocacy Elementary School in Montgomery County, Maryland as they waited for a late bus. The setting comes from Sugarloaf Mountain and the many farm houses in the area. Students at Monocacy and Sherwood Elementary School contributed many ideas to the stories.
