Family legends are created daily by the families who live them. Each and every family has legends or tales of significance to their family members and friends. Many are simply passed down by word of mouth. These tales are told generation after generation within the family until the last person to hear the story fails to pass it on to the next. Once the person who knows the tale passes away the legend is forgotten and lost forever. To preserve family legends requires that the information be recorded in some form for future generations to enjoy. After all, much of our recorded history began...

Generations includes poetry from numerous authors all belonging to the same family. The poetry encompasses nature, family, emotions, growing up and growing old.

The stories in this book are based on the author's personal experiences and the experiences of those around her. Some of the stories are about pets and others are about those animals encountered in natural settings.

She awoke that morning to utter silence, stretched luxuriously and rolled over to glance at the clock. Amy blinked and sat bolt upright. The electricity had gone out during the night and the digital clock was blank. She was going to be late, she just knew it She jumped out of her bed and rushed to take a shower. Dreamers and the fictitious zombies appeared to be one and the same. Did this mean that the tales told to scare each otherweren't just tales? The sleepers as they had been calling them were the first in a stage of a transformation. A large number of humans would not survive beyond that stage. Those who did not survive simply fell into a coma and eventually died where they had fallen. The dreamers were those that survived the coma stage and became something else.
