It's Christmas and Sharona Dugan's favorite time of year. But Sid gets carried away with the excitement of the season and charges way too much for gifts for her family and friends and with planning a party for them. But she sees an out as she applies for part-time work at the new Pamper Palace department store. She thinks that she will be hired as a salesclerk since that is what she knows best. Sharona Dugan's day did not start out well when she got an early morning call form the morgue to identify a body. The next four weeks don't get any better. Sid has a terrifying encounter with mob men who thinks she knows where to find their missing money. She is coerced into planning a wedding in only for weeks for her partner's spoiled and tempermental daughter. And she is called to jury duty on the very day of that wedding.
